Cele at award to Carla Moran   Cele's Legislative Aide, Carla Moran, is all smiles as she receives an outstanding graduate award presented by The Graduate Program for Women in Politics and Government at UMass Boston. The presentatation was made in April at Boston's Copley Plaza Hotel. (1998)

 Veteran Charles Breau and Cele enjoy the rededication of the 100 year old flagpole on the Green in Westfield on July 4th. Cele announced she'd donate a huge new Old Glory to fly from the former ship's mast in the center of the City. Here, Cele and Charles admire a picture of the original dedication of the staff. (1998)

  Cele presents a $2000 scholarship to Georgianne Liptak of Westfield, a sophomore at Northeastern University in Boston. At left is Wayne LaPierre of the NRA, which underwrote an essay contest nationwide to provide scholarships to students. (1998)
